Songwriters in the Lounge features a rotating host with special musical guests every Thursday at 7pm. If you are interested in performing, you can inquire at Stagehand.
Our Open Mic is every Saturday at 7pm, hosted by Liam Testa, and featuring a variety of indie rock and folk performers.

Alberta on the Plate
The Artist Lounge is excited to participate in the Alberta on the Plate festival for the second year! This province-wide festival sees participating restaurants offer multi-course, fixed-price menus highlighting local producers, growers, distillers and brewers. At TAL, we are offering a three course menu with some optional beer and cocktail pairings, in celebration of the people and businesses that grow, raise, create, and support the agri-food industry in Alberta.
The Grapes of Laughs Comedy & Wine Tasting
Join us at The Artist Lounge for an unforgettable night of laughter and fine wine at The Grapes of Laughs, a unique comedy show where each stand-up comedian’s set is paired with the perfect wine to elevate the experience.
The Grapes of Laughs, hosted by Ophira Eisenberg (Comedy Central, The Late Late Show, NPR) and Cory Mack (CBC Radio’s The Debaters, Just for Laughs, Hubcap Comedy Festival) will and joined by comedians Nigel Lawrence (HBO, ABC) and Brittany Lyseng (Just for Laughs MTL/TO/VAN, Kevin Hart's LOL Network). Each set will be expertly paired with a unique wine, selected by TAL's in house wine expert. From dry approachable whites to bold complex reds, TAL’s wine expert and host will lead the audience through the tasting of wine and then segue to introducing the comic whose persona and act is a perfect pairing to it.
The event will be on Sunday, July 27th at 4pm and tickets are $75. Ticket prices include the comedy show, wine, and food, along with GST and gratuity.
Guests must be 18 years of age or older.

Shedding Expectations Exhibition
In this exhibition at the Ruberto Ostberg Gallery, artists Corinne Cowell and Shona Rae investigate people and animals along with spaces, memory, and intention. Their work is about delving into the imagination and asking what is expected of lives, objects, and debris which are discarded.
This exhibition features Cowell’s paintings and Rae’s sculptures, and can be enjoyed during your visit to The Artist Lounge during the month of March.
